im not sure if this the right place to post but
In 2005 I loaned somebody £42,000
I can prove the money loaned as I have a paper trail,
also something in writing the money would be paid back.
Its now 2019 and I still have not been paid back, the person
I loand the money to has throughout the years bought and sold property, also started a business

Not sure how you know how much they have in the bank, but thats neither here or there, you need to send a LBA then small claims court, and then be very surprised if you get a penny back.0

Has this person paid you anything since the money was loaned, or acknowledged the debt.? In the written agreement was anything said about when the money was to be repaid?
