BW legal Letter of claim

First post so be grateful for any help. I have spent ages reading through these threads but am a bit confused.
I have received a Letter of Claim from BW Legal for an alleged overstay at a Britannia car park in Plymouth. It is operated by cctv and letter states "failed to make valid payment", as I overstayed by about 10 minutes.
I thought I have read on this thread that the debt collectors, bw legal, cannot take you to court so ignore their threats, but on the flip side is this Letter of claim where I should be writting back to Brittannia and pulling apart the fact that they have failed to provide all the information? Ie. They have not specified in any correspondence the time of my ticket purchase and expiry, only anpr photos of my vehicle entering and leaving the car park. To date I have failed to send any response or acknowledge receipt but this letter stipulates response by 1st Feb!!
Thanks in advance

''BW Legal'' - look at their name. They're not debt collectors, they are a legal firm.
Have you not read a few BW Legal threads? They are everywhere here.
And read the 2nd post of the NEWBIES thread which tells you how to send Britannia a SAR at LBC stage. This is fully covered in the sticky thread, so you need to read the 2nd post of it and any BW Legal threads.
Yes, you will get a court claim, but you will soon learn they are very defendable!

Thanks for the reply. I will follow up on the SAR letter to Brittania as the information they have provided is very brief and bullet pointed, and incomplete.
Do I still have to provide financial information and the reason for appeal on the back of their (BW Legal) letter at this stage and also return to them by the date requested?0 -

No.
You need to read more BW Legal threads, no filling in their forms and handing over financial information (why would anyone?)!
I say go back twenty pages and read at least 30 BW Legal court threads over the coming days. You will learn what you need to know to be ready for the inevitable claim.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
