Default removed but company re added to file

I have a quick question. I had a payday loan that was under a debt collection agency. I was all paid off in 2015 and defaulted in jan 2013. The default dropped off which was great and a relief, but since then the company have added it back on to my file with latest update from August 18. Rather confused as I though once default was removed they wouldn’t add anything back on file. Any help would be great fully appreciated

It hasn’t been added as default just as a closed account and settled on 2018 which I Mm really comfused about’

Contact them and ask them to remove it

Tried contacting them had no response, I have contacted credit ref agency

I had this happen last year, it was a MyJar account that I defaulted on over 10 years ago! It suddenly appeared in my closed accounts.

I raised a dispute with all the credit agencies it appeared on, it was promptly removed.
