I recently checked my credit rating online and was given a score of 886. This was just in the green for good however I have been declined a virgin credit card. I live with my partner who owns his house but I am not on the mortgage. I have lived with him for almost 7 years and work part time. I have no debs but no credit either.... Can anyone advise me where to start?

Yup.
First things first ignore the scores and ratings.
They’re not real and not seen or used by lenders.
What other credit accounts do you have on your credit files?
Make sure you check all 30 -
Im not entirely sure what you mean, sorry!
I have a bank account with no overdraft just a visa debit card and no other credit/debt at all. Never had any credit before!
What do you mean about check all 3?0 -

Only you can see the scores, all that matters is the history is correct.
There's 3 agencies so check them.
Call credit and Equifax are the other 2, use Noddle and clearscore for them.0
