How do I stop eBay adding offers to my listings ?
Its happening pretty much daily now, I have a few items listed at £43 which I usually have no problem selling, after xmas is always a slow period so a few have now been listed for 2 weeks, yesterday eBay added offers to the listing with "accept offers over £17" ticked. No way am I selling for that price. They did the same at the weekend, luckily I was able to change it back as later that day they sold for full price.

- use the Advanced listing screen
or
- create a template and use that
or
- use the Sell Similar option from one of your good listingsThe questions that get the best answers are the questions that give most detail....0 -
A lot of this is happening when people use the app to list. Construct the listing on a PC/laptop.0

I think the OP is referring to eBay adding best offer to existing live listings, had this a few times, you get an email headed, "your listings can now accept offers", or such in the eBay My Messages and eBay have been "helpful" by adding best office to listings they presumably see as either over priced or slow selling.
Don't think you can stop this happening but I've not see auto accept applied to mine, OP are you sure it's not set auto decline below £17 and left the auto accept blank? In the game of chess you can never let your adversary see your pieces0 -

I tend to read Boards now where it is mainly US sellers and on there people have reported their items selling as a BIN for less than they listed- no one seems to know why and whether it is 'operator error' or an eBay glitch.
Unfortunately this forum is so slow now we only get isolated reports from U.K. Sellers and it is hard to know what is going on .I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
