It's not just city slickers who've got access to inside information. Examples are
Company Lawyers/Advisors
Government Regulators
Employees who talk to senior directors at the smoking shed/water cooler0 -

Chinese walls are supposed to exist within financial institutions that are party to sensitive information. Any trades made by members of the board, that hint of impropriety will be hushed up and brushed under the carpet in a plea bargain snitch deal on blaming someone else, that will most likely result in no action.

Don't watch absolutely awful TV programmes that are a complete farce when it comes to reality.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0 -
