Insurance claim help

I had a motorhome and in October I had a accident. The accident was my fault as I pulled out of a junction on a country lane. The other driver was on the wrong side of the road after cutting a corner so I couldn’t see him because of the very high bushes. He hit my side at 60+ mph. Anyway that’s not my problem.
I do not work due to a medical condition (brain injury). My insurance occupation was put as retired on medical grounds. However after the accident and lots of phone calls to the claims line asking what was going on. Where they collecting my vehicle from the impound lot or not. I eventually got a letter. They said my insurance was void. They will not pay out and act as though my policy never existed. This is because they think I’m a professional musician. I have sung since 7yeara Old in the cathedral choir until 14 years old. Since then I sing and play the guitar at home. I have made some YouTube videos at home in my bedroom or kitchen and never outside my house. It’s just me singing and playing guitar with cover songs. I played for the first time in years infront of a crowd at magical festival as part of a open mic night show. The festival was autism friendly so no loud noises and very nice crowds. It was in August 2018 and my policy with the insurance started in October. So some number of months befor my policy started. I have not played anywhere since as I decided I really cannot cope with the stress of playing live anymore. What can I do?? I’ve sent letters but they have sent me a final decision. The final decision still states they believe to be a professional musician. I replied with prooof of that I receive pip because of my disability (both mobility and daily living), that I need help with daily living and me being a professional musician isn’t a logical thing. I really need help. I can’t cope with the stress or dealing with this. It’s on my mind constantly and i just feel like crying constantly as I’ve let everyone down.

Whenever you are not happy with your insurance company the route to go down is a complaint in line with their complaints procedure
As you say they have sent you their final decision then you can now escalate to the FOS for their adjudication at no cost to you
Their final decision should have included how to escalate to the FOS0
