Hi I have a Samsung S9 phone and my 32GB SD card is nearly full so I want to buy a bigger one and just transfer everything.
Am I right in thinking there are no system files on there and that you can just copy them to the new card and then put the new card in the phone and it wont even notice apart from showing that it is bigger?
I was going to transfer them to my PC first and then on to the new card is that ok?
Speed wise should I consider any particular speed or are the all going to work the same?
I was tempted with a faster one such as this
https://www.amazon.co.uk/SanDisk-Extreme-microSDXC-Adapter-Performance/dp/B07FCMKK5X/ref=sr_1_1?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1548701139&sr=1-1&keywords=micro+sd+128gb+a2
Any help/advice appreciated.

You can just copy the contents from the old card to the new card. It will work. Going via a PC will not cause any problems.0

Thanks wongataa, what about the speed thing, will it make any difference in a smart phone having a faster card and is the one in the link I gave fast enough?0 -
Samsung have a downloadable transfer app which works with at least one other brand (OH got it to work from Lenovo -> new Samsung0

When you get the new card, put in in the S9 and format it using the phone. That way you know it's formatted the way the phone wants it. Same applies to anything you plan to use a card in.0

The faster card will work better in the S9 than the older card.
Is the current card formatted as portable storage (or however Samsung call it) or as internal storage? The former will allow you to copy straight across - the latter possibly won't.0
