Parking Charge Hospital Staff Car Park Barrier Up

Hi,
Can anyone advise whether I have a chance of successfully appealing this parking ticket, or point in the right direction.
Went for eye appointment today at Northampton General .
We have a disabled parking pass, so we need to park close.
Parking normally scarce, found a space , did not realise it was a staff car park - the barrier was
constantly up , when we entered and when we left, didn't even see the barrier...
The signage is very low at ground level and you can't see it when you are driving trying to concentrate.
Can any one help please?
Thanks

Hi and welcome.
If you have based your forum username on your real name, you would be wise to get your forum username changed to something very much more anonymous.
To help with that, you might like to read this short extract from The MSE Forum Guide - Frequently Asked Questions & Rules:Q. How can I change my username?
A. In most circumstances, this is not permitted.
The only reason we will change your username is if it puts your privacy at risk. This usually means you've inadvertently registered using your name, email address or something that gives away your identity within your username.
If you fall into this category, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com and request that it is changed, giving three alternative usernames in order of preference.0 -
Which parking firm?
The NEWBIES thread tells you, if this is a windscreen PCN from a BPA AOS member firm, how to appeal as keeper on day 26 online, IMPORTANTLY not implying who was driving.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
