Hi, guys, just one more question.

If I buy nearly new used car, is the warranty with trader or manufacturer?

When you do a search at autotrader, sometimes there are significant price difference between search 'national' and search local (I meant within 70 miles)

Is it worth jumping on the train and travel hours for a used car?

    Or...

For myself I went EV saving £2k+ a year on fuel. Not for everyone though...

Are you with plug in Hybrid or Hybrid?

Plug in is so expensive, and I think hybrid is good for short journey not motorway?
85% of my mileage is on motorway which don't seems much of the point of Hybrid.

Can I suggest that with no trade-in and a car allowance, you are in a good position to lease? That way, all of these issues of resale are no longer your problem.

You'll also get a truer impression of the overall relative value of the Sandero (which is not that great due to high depreciation).

    e.g. Sandero Stepway 1.0 SCe Essential 36 months x £183 + £1300 deposit

    Sandero Stepway 1.5 DCi Essential - 36 months x £219 + £1500 deposit
    Seat Arona 1.0 TSI SE Technology - 36 months x £166 + £1200 deposit
    Vauxhall Crossland X 1.2 Elite Nav - 36 months x £190 + £1350 deposit

    All 37500 miles

Similar prices to the Arona on Captur, Peugeot 2008, etc.

In my own example the petrol & diesel were same model spec, age and price. Granted not always the case.

Yup, we're talking about the O/P's scenario. Subjective examples will all be different.

The balance of the warranty will be with the manufacturer.

I live in NI and i've went to the mainland for cars before now when the price is right :)

Have a good long call with the dealer before you travel. Get all the info you can.

Those number on Sandero don't seems to make sense on lease?

Stepway 1.5 DCI is £10395 on cash price.
The car should worth more than £1k after 3 year of driving...

Lease prices reflect all of the major costs of purchase over a defined period, the major ones being depreciation and embedded interest charges.

You can't compare the cost of leasing directly with cash purchase because they are not the same thing. Or at least, if you do compare, then they make sense when a £20000+ car is £175pm, not when a £10000 car is also £175pm.
