Hi, I have recieved a letter from reston solicitor's about a debt which was first taken out in 2001 i was paying this debt regular but due to marriage problems and divorce i stopped in a panic i signed securing the loan against the property i was living in i think the last payment was made in october 2013. I do no longer live in the property but my ex and son still do i am now remarried to a new partner, My son brought the letter to me at weekend and they are saying i need to contact them before 5th of february or they will seek court action to re-instate the CCJ. I obviously do not want my ex and son to lose their home should i ring them and make arrangements to pay this off monthly. the debt is for £1,377,55 hope you can help thank you x kate meah
