Pay day today, and I PAID OFF THE CC! The last payment was a little less than the usual direct debit, so it's now cleared and the DD cancelled. So happy! They keep bombarding me with new 0% offers which I am going to ignore. The card will be kept open as it's a 0% money transfer card, so useful for emergencies.

Also topped up my savings pots, YNAB is a sea of green. Now to keep on track of grocery and personal spends and keep it that way...

As I watched the dog chasing his tail, I thought Dogs are easily amused. Then I realised I was watching the dog chasing his tail.

Rabbits jump and they live for 8 years.
Dogs run and they live for 15 years.
Turtles swim sedately and they live for 150 years.
Lesson learned.

Research has shown that laughing for two minutes is just as healthy as a 20 minute jog. So now I'm sitting in the park, laughing at all the joggers.

NSD #8 yesterday, given that the spends from my business trip to London will be going through as expenses. Today should be another, although I may need to buy some medicine.

You will keep your NSD if you only buy medicine (medical needs are exempt as we don't want anyone putting off treatment to keep their NSD.

Glenda - well done, it is so nice when they are all paid off.


I have been out walking with DH and the dog today. We walked up a near vertical hill to a tiny village on the top. The village is very pretty and it is like walking back into the past, for one tiny place I have never seen so many graves. Took our own lunch and a flask and DH bought some chips when we got back into the little town at the bottom of the hill.
