I'm just working Wednesday this week so I can spend some time with DH and the kids for half term. Yesterday was a spend day in the end, I bought a coat from the charity shop where DD volunteers so £4 spent there. DH went to a family party last night but I'm not sure if he spent anything, I didn't go as it was sprung on us a few hours before and was in a working mens club which is not my scene at all.

I thought I had finished darning socks then I found another pair of DD's which need doing too - it is quite satisfying though. DH lit a fire in the garden yesterday which seems to be one of his favourite things to do, it does look tidier out there though, he put the new tyres on the trailer and has plans to repair the summer house roof on Wednesday.

Plan for today is to remove the sloths from their rooms and get them out in the fresh air.

I managed a NSD on Saturday, which takes my total is now at 5 for the month, shocking compared to last month.

My week ahead is planned from my side, all food in etc. Although I have another trip to London, Wednesday and Thursday, which tends to throw everything in the air (spends, healthy eating, exercise etc). So I am going to try and be much more disciplined and preparred.

Do trips away with work, where everything is eventually paid back in expenses count as ruining a NSD?

Thanks mothernerd :) Love your tales! The job would be the next step up but it’s never been a role I wanted to do but they needed someone to look after it and just didn’t ask me, until it was too late for them to have any other options. It’s good money but stupid pressure and workload. Hopefully just 3 more months of it as I’ve appointed a new member of staff who is keen to take it on but can’t start for a while. Thank you for taking the time to write to me :) I have missed being here!

Today I’m getting my hair done (swapped to every two months to save money), been to the gym and for a dog walk and then off to a friend’s for lunch, which will be free :)

I am on NSD 8. Not the best, but to be fair, it was nearly all unplanned and impromptu boiler nonsense.

Today I will pay for the next 5 days of football training and buy some bread, apart from that I should rack up a good few NSDs this week. The car has petrol, food in the house, books on the coffee table, tea in the tin. Happy Days!

It's like winter is mad and keeps storming out... and then coming back to say "and another thing".

People often say that motivation doesn't last. Well neither does bathing-- that's why we recommend it daily.

The world is changed by your example not your opinion.

Be brave. Do good. Stay you.

If you only spend for work and nowt eslse, then I reckon it's like yellow sticker shopping and doesn't lose you an NSD.

Fmess - I managed until 6.45 today! Bet you are counting down the days until the role finishes. Will that be just in time for you to have more free time with the exam classes going? Or are you marking again? Hope you find ways to relax.

Had some antipasti for lunch and will have some of last night's chicken casserole for dinner, Think there will still be some left over. Just some bread taken out of the freezer but at least nothing added. And the fridge is looking remarkably tidy.

Himself sorted out his finances today. That's a first. He now has a plan of how to save money over the next year. Never thought I'd see that.

I'm plodding along with a little bit of cleaning and a little but of tidying out. Think I'll have a go at my clothes tomorrow. It's not so long since I last did it but I'm sure there are some items that I thought that I might use that I probably won't so they can go to the charity shop.

Another early night though as we're both still feeling tired.
Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.

    NSD achieved today - 13/20.
Dealt with quite a few frogs Achieved more than I thought, some of the things I did were not on my list of things to do today. Very happy with that.
Walked in the park. Was a nice day out weather wise.
Spent most of the day in doors, chilled out in between dealing with the frogs. Did manage to catch up with some programmes I recorded and watching some programmes on tv tonight.

A few friends and i do crafty things on a Monday afternoon,Making things for charity. Can't seem to knit any more so sewed some squares together. Intending to make a blanket. About 6 people are knitting so it's growing.
Fancy starting a new hobby but haven't a clue what to do. Any suggestions welcome.
