  • I'm good wilkster - I've literally just finished work, so I'm going to walk about 10 foot to my left, jump in the shower, get changed and then I'll be back!!!

I was thinking earlier (as you do) - I've always had a weird urge to work on a north sea oil rig..........

  • well i'm still working...well meant to be...should be writing my inspection report just now but once again I needed my DFW hit! I'll PM you some info on the rig, could you handle working 15 days at a time, surrounded by big strapping riggers lol. In the cold. However the perks outway the cons, free food, great money, travel the world, no spending for 15 days of the month, I could go on and on. Let me know when your out the shower and we'll see if I can help you. I have many "Contacts" here ;)

wilkster ~ what kind of work are we talking here? Miserable Bollox (thats my OH) has been out of work for 6 months now and I could quite handle him being from under my feet for 15 days at a time :p

    Sign me up!!! :j :j

The isolation aspect doesn't bother me, although I think I'd struggle to find a role - I'm not an engineer or anything engineering related.

My background is 15 years in Public Relations so unless anything goes wrong, I can't see they'd have a need for someone to promote them!!

    I can cook though :D
