If I may be permitted the observation, you were demonstrably not in control of this payment and suffered the consequences. Also, perhaps, you need to learn that to trust others and to delegate such matters to them would be to your own benefit.

You either took a chance or made a mistake, which didn't work out as intended. Now you seek to blame others for your actions or inactions. Grow up.
