I've actually bought SD cards for my PDA (A Mitac Mio 168), as my camera uses Compact Flash cards. I use them to transfer and store data between the card reader attached to my PC and my PDA. When I got the hi-speed card I did some tests, and it does indeed write quicker to the hi-speed than the standard SD card. I'm not sure whether it is quicker *while in* my PDA, though.

I figured that for the extra couple of pounds I might as well go for it, as you never know what you might be plugging a memory card into next...

Just wanted to say thanks for the heads up on this one.

    I got mine today.

It works with no problems with my Canon Ixus 50, which benefits from high speed cards when recording good quaility video.

and amazingly, it was half the price of the sandisk ultra II that i got from jessops. :T

I've now go 1gb of memory to play with :D
