Age limit for reviews?

Options
If you are already on PIP and are a pensioner (missing the cut-off to stay on DLA) at what age, if any, do they stop calling you for reviews?

How long was your award for, PIP claims have an award period, as such you should expect to receive a letter I think 12 months before it ends.

Review due next year, when I will be 69, HRM & MRC (missed out by 1 point :o). Was on DLA for many years. All physical problems, none can disappear/reverse or improve.

I was just wondering at what age, if at all, the cut off point for reviews stop or become 'pointless'.

You'll continue to be reviewed for the length of time you claim PIP, there's no cut off age i'm afraid.

Ok, thanks. I just wondered if they would come to realise that after 30+ years of declining health, it just isn't going to get better.

Hopefully I'll still be paying them visits in my 90s :)

You and thousands of other people wish the same thing, myself included.
