Imac hack??????

I am not sure what has happened here but I went onto the IMAC yesterday and could here breathing in the back ground. No other applications were open and I had just performed an anti virus check with F Secure Safe and no threats were detected.

The camera is always covered but I noticed we did not have the microphone switched off. With the breathing I think I heard part of someones voice. Also typing. I closed the whole system and made sure the microphone was now off so that was the end of that.

However would you normally associate this type of thing on how hackers monitor you or could it just be like a cross line.

Anyone any ideas please.

The issue was with Alexa.

Good to know you got it sorted. Assume you mean your Alexa, at least it wasn't ordering food as in the parrot and Alexa incident.
