Hi

I'm finishing up sole trader accounts for submission and I'm a bit stuck. There is a state pension to declare but I've no idea how to do this and how this will affect tax payable and NI.

Could someone please advise me??

Many thanks

State pension is nothing to do with the accounts. You declare the state pension separately on the tax return.

When I did the return on-line the state pension was already filled in, presumably by linking it with the NI number. If it's not there remember that state pensions are paid every four weeks (13 times pa) if you need to calculate it.
