Hello, Please help me what shall I do..
I was stopped by police when I was driving my car one month ago. When the police found out that I'm wanted they arrested me. One of the police officer sat in my car and he drove away. He parked my car in the parking lot at the police station. Next day I was escorted to the prison where I was 5 weeks. Approx 2 weeks after my arrest the car disappeared from parking. Last Monday I was released from prison and when I came home I found a letter from NSL where they informed me that my car has been removed from the highway. I was fined with Penalty Charge £65. There are also removal and storage fees to pay in total amount over £1000. I'm absolutelly clueless what shall I have to do. I would like to ask if am I obliged to pay this charges and the penalty fine which were issued for contravention of "parked in restricted street during prescribed hours" when my car was driven and parked there by a policeman.

You need to follow the info on the PCN, to contest the parking charge AND the towing away, and all fees, due to the simple reason that the car was parked there by the Police.

Go to pepipoo forum for more advice on how to do this, and you MUST appeal quickly:

Tell the pepipoo expert posters, whether you have recovered your car yet, or are you (presumably) unable to do so due to the cost?

No HOTMAIL emails on pepipoo, and you must show them the PCN (both sides).

• Exactly... But for something that I did not do...

They don't release the car before I'll pay them even when I appeal against it

Also they charge me a storage fee £40 per day
• But the problem is that I have no PCN. I have got only the letter which they sent me 9 days after they received the car.

So off you go to pepipoo forum and show that to them, then. Expert posters there.

PePiPoo is where you need to be posting this.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
