Best Company for Higher Credits

Hi there,

I need a credit limit of about £14K as my Capital One 0% runs out at the beginning of Jan and i need to transfer the balance.

I am willing to pay A BTFee but was wondering what Virgin credit limits are like or Nat West as i note that those two companies are offering 13/15 months at 0% currently.

All help is greatly appreciated as always.

Judging from the posts on the *Best Balance Transfer*sticky, you're more likely to get a generous credit limit with Virgin, whereas the Royal Bank of Scotland stable, which includes NatWest, is known for its er... 'responsible' credit limits. That's certainly been my experience as well

I've just got a Virgin and was given a £11,400 limit. My other cards are around the £8.5K limit, so was surprised how much they offered. Was only after £5K, so have SBT an extra £5K into a savings account for 15 months.

I've had several cards from the MBNA stable & the lowest limit I ever got was £15K.
