Is checkmyfile genuine?

I recently signed up to checkmyfile, paid then tried to login it failed, although I'm absolutely certain the password etc was correct. So I clicked on "Forgotten Password" and then "Send password reset link" and nothing happens - no email is sent. I've tried it about 30 times over the day and nothing.
As I can't login I'm unable to cancel the subscription so I'm wondering if this is a scam and I've just lost £14.99!

Has anyone used checkmyfile successfully?

    I've now got to work out how to logon in order to cancel the payment within the next 30 days!

    Check your spam / junk mail folder for the reset password email.
