    That could well be it. It is illogical but I think we have come across this before.

    Really the Insolvency Service needs to be saying to HMRC that a Tax Credit Overpayment listed as a Tax Credit Overpayment with HMRC is the same debt, and covered by a DRO, even if they later pass it to DWP to recover.

  • Well im not sure i only received a letter telling me of the overpayment for tax credit and how much was owed. Does that count as being ask for it?
    And they paid me out of the blue but then said this money needs to be recover as well and they havent made a decision about my DRO .

    When you get something in writing can you copy it word for word?
