NSC bungalow & external wall insulation

Hi
I am an owner/occupier of a non standard construction bungalow (concrete panels). I’ve just had a visit from Warm Works Scotland regarding getting external wall insulation and they’re happy to do this for us with government grants covering the cost apart from a £198 contribution from ourselves which is amazing!
I just wondered if anyone has been in the same position and can advise how the procedure goes, how long (roughly) it takes & most importantly - do you feel the benefits now that this has been done?
Eek! I’m excited 😂😂

Crucially, is your house considered to be defective under the Housing Defects Act 1984 and if so will the insulation remedy that?
If not, insulation certainly should help the thermal performance, but the thermal mass of the concrete panels inside the insulation envelope will mean your house will still be very slow to heat up and cool down.
There are known problems with EWI if it's inappropriate or not properly installed

Can anybody help me? My house is a very big 4 bedroom end terrace victorian house and it is very hard to heat up. I am considering having external wall insulation but the costs are very expensive. I was wondering if anybody would know if there is any companies out there that are offering full grants or at least 50% grants of the total cost of the insulation. I am prepared to make a contribution.0
