building alterations

Can anyone give me some starting points. I currently have a seperate kitchen and dining room which run the width of the house. Behind them is an open plan conservatoy. I want to knock down the wall between kitchen and dining room and make conservatory into seperate room. The plumbing is currently in conservatory (was extended from kitchen).

Just don't know where to start: archietet, builder etc. Also know its hard but a ball park fig of costs would be great

thanks skippy

Have a look in the local paper for 'plans drawn' adverts.

you shouldnt require an architect. any decent builder will be able to plan and do the job.
ball park figure is difficult cause not enough details. but say diy would be less than 1k. so builder cost say 3k/5k???
    Get some gorm.
