Aldi lamps? Urgent on sale now

I want some new shades for my bedside lamps.
I’ve seen these & I love the shades

https://www.aldi.co.uk/large-crystal-droplet-lamp/p/087019254882700#product-reviews

Do you think they are ordinary shades, that I can take off and put on a lamp I already have?

It’s online only so I can’t look - I’ve never bought lighting from Aldi before & im not sure if there are continental fittings that are different!

Otherwise anyone know where I can buy shades like this with the droplets? Doesn’t have to have the sting top.

That lamp takes an e14 halogen bulb, which is 14mm at the base, most lamps take an ordinary uk bulb (b22 22mm wide) or similarly sized screw in type. I'd suggest that it likely wouldn't fit
  • Contrary to what the previous poster has said, the bulb fitting shouldn't matter too much as there is usually a separate ring to hold the shade anyway.

Worst case, whats wrong with the lamp supplied by Aldi?

    Can't see it on sale, it's 29.99?

Worst case scenario you can return it as you bought online due to distance selling regulations.

Aldi's returns policy is actually very good.

In addition to your legal rights, they give you 60 days to return it.

Because my own lamp bases are much nicer and I want to keep them.

Fair enough. Personally I'd give it a go, as other posters have said, you can always send them back!
