CP Plus “parking notice”

Hey!
Today I had an interview at a hospital, the space I parked my car in apparently even though it looked like a space wasn’t. When I came out after approximately 45mins at the most I had a “unauthorised parking notice” from a company called CP Plus, I haven’t ever had one before so I don’t know what to do with this. I have heard that if it isn’t council or police issued then to just ignore it but I am not 100% sure and wondered if anyone could give me advice on this as if I pay within 14 days it decreases from £40 to £20. Thanks!

See the NEWBIES thread - 2 clicks back to where you started. The appeal is there.
CP Plus fold when they see it, as long as you don't say who was driving.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:

you heard wrong, especially as the advice changed in october 2012, so over 6 years ago
please read the NEWBIES faq sticky thread near the top of this forum, it has all the advce you need
it really depends if you are up for a fight or not, and for £20 and being caught out it doesnt seem a bad offer to me, but as CM says above, C P Plus may well fold when they see the appeal0
