High gas bill and engineers said that everything was ok

I don't know how you can expect your maisonette to be warm when you only heat it for 2 hours in the evening. The rooms will be quite cold with no heat in the property since breakfast.
Exactly! That is why I have my heating on all day and use between 50 - 80 kWh of gas a day, depending on the outside temperature.0 -
That would be around 1700 KWh, .The last two Actuals readings are:
30th November 2018: 1740 units
until 23rd January 2019: 2060 units.
On a metric meter a gas unit/m3 is approx 11.2 kWh; so 320 gas units(m3) is approx 3,360kWh - so approx 62 kWh a day for 30 Nov to 23 Jan.
62 kWh costs approx £2 - so that is not bad for mid winter0 -
