Average electricity units used in a day

Hello,

I'm currently having some trouble with my uilities and it would be helpful to know how many units of electricity people in electric-only homes are using, as a rough guide. We have an electric combi boiler and conventional radiators, with no gas at all. We're currently using 50 units per day, which seems extraordinary. Any advice is appreciated!

Sounds about right.

We have a heat pump and can frequently manage to get through 40-60kwh a day especially when the temperature outside is below zero.

Our average for January is around 1100kwh which is an average of 35kwh/day but that includes heating, hot water, washing, drying, cooking etc

Possibly around the same in February, less in March. Our worst January was 1500kwh in 2013

Our overall energy bill is around 7000kwh a year but around 5000 of that is used between November and the end of March
