Halfords 'we fit' service

They advertise £8 for fitting a new headlight bulb 'while you wait'... which seems close to a bargain when I just discovered that my Honda Jazz practically needs its front bumper removing to perform this operation (whatever happened to simplicity?).

Does anyone know whether they specifically exclude any makes/models of car in order to avoid the minimum 20/30mins of dirty labour that these incur? I can't find any exclusions mentioned on their website.

They certainly do. They did once have a book with DNAs , not sure what look up they have now.

Ring up and ask them. Read a previous thread which stated that the charge was drastically increased for certain cars, which seems reasonable in the circumstances.
