Finding active accounts

I have full power of attorney for my gran and I would like to check if I have access to all of her accounts with funds (bank accounts, ISAs and share accounts). At the moment I have a list I have drawn up from the correspondence she kept over the years but it was just in case I am missing anything. I wouldn't want an account to go missing and for her not to be aware of it. I know credit checks online can give you all sort of info on credit cards and loans I wondered if there is any similar way of finding out about accounts in someone's name? I guess if someone dies with no relatives then the legal guys must have some way of identifying accounts and shares?
