    This week we should be eating:-

    Sunday - HM Minced beef and onion pie, roasties, carrots and sprouts
    Monday - Fish, Chips & Peas (HM)
    Tuesday - Chicken Paprika (Slow cooker) with Rice
    Wednesday - Spag Bol (Hidden veg) & HM Rolls
    Thur - Chippy tea after DD1 swimming (DH out)
    Fri - Roast Dinner with trimmings
    Sat - HM Pork & Apple burgers

    Breakfasts - cereals or toast
    Lunches - sandwiches, crackers, yoghurt, fruit etc

    Snacks - will make cake and HM Biccies.

    Monday 12th spaggy bol
    Tuesday 13th crispy potatoes and fish
    Wednesday 14th sausage casserole
    Thursday 15th savoury mince and mash
    Friday 16th pizza and potato wedges
    Saturday 17th party food (DD4 is 5!!)

    Need to buy..

    Mince.. pork.. 4lb
    mushrooms.. mine have grown legs!

    OK just lost the post once :mad:

    SUNDAY - ROAST DAY - CHicken, roasties, yorkies, cabbage, carrots, broccoli and swede (and as kids dont like swede I creamed it and added some to the gravy :D )
    MONDAY - MEAT DAY - Steak Pie (OH and DS) Chicken (DD and me) Mash, veg and gravy
    TUESDAY - RICE DAY - Sweet n Sour Chicken (it was a big chicken, theres soup and sarnies come off it as well)
    WEDNESDAY - 'OTHER' DAY - JP and Salad (just me and DD at home)
    THURSDAY - SNACK DAY - HM Pizza
    FRIDAY - PASTA DAY - Spag bol
    SATURDAY - FISH DAY - Fish fingers chip n peas

    Been planning for a few weeks now, hope this makes it official :T
    Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!

    Hi, late again :rolleyes:

    Here's our meals:-

    Mon Tuna steak and veg
    Tue Chicken casserole (slow cooker)
    Wed Prawn stirfry
    Thur Sweet and sour chops (slow cooker)
    Fri Chilli (HM from freezer)
    Sat Lasagna (HM From freezer)
    Sun Sausage casserole (slow cooker)

    Hmmm that's looking like a nice easy week for cooking - Currently on week2 of loving my new slow cooker! :D

    Our week goes from thursday to thursday.... Has somehow settle down to this.

    I also plan for two weeks ahead:

    Fri Med Fish Casserole
    Sat Gamon, Eggs, Peas, Pots
    Sun Beef and Veg Pie
    Mon Sweet Pots and Chickpea Casserole
    Tues Spag Bowl
    Wed Veggie Egg Fried Rice
    Thurs Creamy Butternut Squash Soup

    I'll post the rest next week.......

    Nearly forgotten the little one, he is going to have purees:

    Sweet pots, turnip, papaya, nectarine, Butternut squash, Broccoli, Cauliflower, Banana and Avocado
    I wish Germany had a website like moneysavingexpert!
  • First time but here we go, mine includes lunches as you can see. Good job the OH doesn't mind repetition, but with just two you never finish a packet!

    Monday
    L. Leek and potato soup + tiger bread
    D. Smoked salmon salad

    Tuesday
    L. Avocado salad w/ cous cous
    D. Spinach noodles w/ roasted toms and mushrooms

    Wednesday
    L. Avocado salad w/ cous cous
    D. Odds and sods (OH is out, I'll eat whatever's going off)


    Thursday
    L. Leek and potato soup + bread
    D. Special a la OH


    Friday
    L. Pasta Salad

    ...and a weekend away in Brecon eating malt loaf, pasta and cereal bars
  • Glad to find this thread! I've been meal planning since May, don't know how I'd manage without it now. It's been great to read your plans, for some fresh ideas. For anyone still reading this thread, our meals this week are:

    TUE: HM wholemeal pizza – ham, pineapple, mushrooms

    WED: gammon steaks, baked/mashed potato, sweetcorn, pineapple
    THU: HM chicken pie, chips, gravy, cabbage
    FRI: sausage casserole (slow cooker), couscous
    SAT: tuna/bread/salt/pepper tuna patties (haven't made these before - bit of an experiment), wholewheat noodles, courgette, fresh tomatoes
    SUN: cauliflower cheese, bacon, potato
    MON: HM chicken curry from freezer, rice
