Car Phone Warehouse poor customer service

WEALTH WARNING
I ordered a mobile phone from the Carphone Warehouse web site on 12th September and expected delivery on the 13th per their delivery promise.
The phone was not delivered, I checked their courier (City Link) on line tracking service on the 14th, which said an attempt had been made and a card left. This is incorrect, no attempted delivery or card left. I contacted the courier and asked where I could collect the phone. They promised to call back. Later I was advised that they could not locate the package. I immediately contacted Carphone Warehouse to cancel this order and was advised that they would refund my credit card. I then purchased the phone from their shop in Aberdeen on 14th September.
I have sent Carphone Warehouse three e mails and received only an automated acknowledgement. I have contacted them five times by phone and each time been promised a refund. I have written to them and City Link, but received no reply.
Carphone Warehouse sent me an e mail on 4th October for another delivery, which I immediately cancelled.
On 06th October they refunded £59.95 to my account i.e. £10 less than I originally paid. I do not see why I have been charged for their “lost” delivery.
I eventually got a full refund from my credit card company. Thank god, I did not use a debit card:rolleyes: Still no response to my e mails and letters of complaint from CPW or City Link :mad:

I have heard about and experienced so much bad service from CPW (both business and private) I would never touch them again with a bargepole and would advise others not to either!0
