Yup - you will get a shock - many of the rates are North of 15p/kwh now:(
Luckily (but read on) started with Utility Point last week @12.61p/kwh But they are now swamped with new customers and customer service is non-existant. One of those cases where you prey nothing goes wrong with your own account...

I'm in the same situation as you. I was also with oneselect.

I've used Which magasine website which has switch section is independent and extensive. Sorry I can't post the link as a new member. There are probably other independent websites. Look one of your last bill to have the estimate of your annual energy use.

Good luck for switching. I'm in the process to switch but Together Energy objected to it. They still haven't created an account. They said they are waiting on Oneselect files. I've found it hard to believe since they managed to transfer my direct debit in no time without my authorisation.

I looked at Utility Point - but their rates seemed far too close to the rates of the THREE Cos. I've been with in the last 7 months ,all of whom have folded.(Iresa,Usio,One Select)

If you believe the current info. being disseminated then UP's rates are "unsustainable":(

They say bad luck always comes in 3s! I managed to get out of Iresa with my credit before it folded. Tonik were great but UPs quote was 20% less than Tonik so no choice for me. As to UPs future... they're currently swamped a bit with new customers and customer service is very thin - see Twitter. Their higher winter DDs have also confused customers (comparison sites need to put a "*" by all their "amounts per month" quote to warn of this possibility.
On the plus side, Trustpilot reviews haven't dipped significantly... yet.

Put "switchwithwhich" into your search engine for the Which site.

Bit of a faff to deal with 2 bills, but with these consumption figures, searching for separate Elec & Gas quotes could pay dividends

Funny today I did the same switch, have gone to Octopus on their 12 month fixed, it wasn't quite the cheapest on MSE cheap energy club but got great reviews.
Also there are trust pilot posts with links to referrals that will give a £50 cashback to you and the referrer. Bit more than MSE are giving!

Not so. I would expect all comparison site to show the same tariffs & suppliers as https://energycompare.citizensadvice.org.uk/ but they do not.
Amazingly, in its infinite wisdom Ofgem ruled on 16 July 2018 that price comparison websites don't have to show the whole of the market. If they only want to list the (expensive) companies that pay them, that's fine with Ofgem !

Best to check with Citizens Advice or Which? and then check whether the same tariff is available with cashback from the commercial price comparison sites.
