in Credit cards
Hi,
for various reasons, am coming up a bit short (about 2k) on paying my Self Assessment bill next week. Was going to do an money transfer on my personal credit card (yes, expensive but don't have another option), but i noticed this Billhop company, which charges 2.95% fee which is cheaper than a money transfer and i would hope wont leave a smudge on my credit file. Anybody got any pearls of wisdom to offer (apart from "should have saved more....").
Thanks in Advance - Jabba

Might be too late, but Curve will let you recharge this to your credit card.
You get a Debit Card in the post. You can add Debit/Credit cards to it. You pay with Curve and then Curve charges your Credit Card. ie. You pay for stuff using a Debit Card and they charge it to your Credit Card.
One of the major benefits is paying HMRC... as Debit Cards are free (and acceptable!).1
