UK Parking Patrol Office Ltd - Cannot Appeal

Hi All,
I'm calling BS on this but not sure of the next steps. Advice would be much appreciated

I sent the standard ONE SIZE FITS ALL'' FIRST APPEAL to UK Parking Patrol Office Ltd via their appeals page on the website.

They have replied with the following. Basically they are saying I can not appeal.
Dear Sir/Madam,

Thank you for your communication regarding the above Parking Charge Notice (PCN).

Please be advised that the time in which to submit a challenge has now expired and access to the Independent Appeals Service is no longer available.

However, in order to resolve the matter, I will offer the following comments as to why this PCN was correctly issued and is still payable:

The site in question is subject to terms and conditions, which are stated on signs throughout the area. Those signs clearly state: “Parking Is Restricted To Vehicles Displaying A Valid Permit Only”.

On XX/XX/2018 the vehicle was observed parked without authorisation.

  Kind regards

Note they replied to me via email even though I have asked them not to. What are my next steps please?

Kindest Regards

    Next steps are:

    1) complain to the landowner.

    2) ignore all debt collectors letters - for further detail on that read post #4 of the NEWBIES thread.

    3) post again on this thread if ever you receive a Letter of Claim or official court correspondence and you need further help.

Oh, and please don't use the
    -

tags as it makes the text between them difficult to read.
  • Thanks for the prompt reply. I could not see the section in the newbies thread you are reffering to (my eyes aren't what they use to be - HAHA). Please can you point me towards it (post number?)

Also Are we suggesting I now ignore correspondence (until when)?

    Thanks
    Kindest Regards

    As KeithP said:
read post #4 of the NEWBIES thread.

    :)

How come they say you are too late? A keeper can appeal after a NTK.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • Thanks for the advice. Will do all that is suggested by KiethP - Thanks. Greets to C-M and Rx Also.
  • Is there a "Complaint to Landowner" Template somewhere? Or if anybody could post that would be great.

No, because complaints should be from the heart. Not a template.

But you could browse the links in SUCCESSFUL COMPLAINTS ABOUT PPCS which you will have seen is one of the first links in the NEWBIES thread. See what others wrote.
