Stylus Pen options for daughter's iPad?

Hi All,

Can anyone suggest a stylus pen that my kid could use with colouring apps on her iPad Mini 2.

I don't want to spend a fortune so I am hoping there is something that will do the job and is cheap, but I get the feeling the really cheap pen things aren't going to do the job and I'm going to have to get something with electronics to do what she wants it to do...

There are so many options, I'm a bit overwhelmed with which will work and what they do. Any advice welcome!

Just offhand, I'd be looking at what tools the colouring apps suggest. And possibly downgrading the apps for something affordable.

My lad has a graphics tablet for his Art A level & when his misplaced the stylus for that, not only was there a short screaming match, even ebay's cheapest option was £30 to replace it (and of course the blighter then found the original.)
