My head is blown again, sorry.
OK so Vanguard is all done and set up.
Now getting very concerned about tax and have posted a question on the 'Interest Details on HMRC ...' thread as my well under the threshold savings interest earned is being taken off my PA for this TY thus reducing my tax code. And to cap it all HMRC have aided the death of more trees to tell me in writing.
I'm now considering having a look around at cash ISA again instead of maxing interest. If the tax implications are such that I need to go through all the hassle with HMRC again, I don't think I have the strength.
I haven't yet done the SIPP as I've been trying to thoroughly understand what I would be doing and 35 pages is a lot of thread to read along with respective links.
Anyway just wanted to update really ... and have a whinge.
All the best,
SpigsMortgage Free October 2013 :T0
