  • The worst one I ever won was floss. It did come with a cute penguin toothbrush holder though, but still- floss! I think it was described vaguely as a "bundle" in the comp text, but I still wondered why I'd entered.

Some 'hand-crafted' tat on facebook that was basically a few clothes pegs with pictures stuck on them that were some kind of hangers. I didn't enter. I see people on certain FB groups listing everything they won each month, and most of it is stuff I wouldn't give houseroom to. But the more people enter for a load of old tat, the more companies will offer it.

Most branded stuff is pretty meh... I've had runner up keyrings, t-shirts, hats, fridge magnets etc. tbh I'd rather companies used the money they spent on tat, and posting said tat, either on another semi-decent prize, or gave it to charity.
    TOP MONEYSAVING TIP

Make your own Pot Noodles using a flower pot, sawdust and some old shoe laces. Pour in boiling water, stir then allow to stand for two minutes before taking one mouthful, and throwing away. Just like the real thing!

My class were looking forward to the box of apples I thought I'd won, but when it arrived it was an apple shaped box to keep my apple in!

Oh :rotfl: but aren't apples different sizes  I remember a teacher of mine had a banana holder, but she would have to make sure that the bananas she bought would actually fit in it :rotfl:
