Short Term Investment

Hi all, I have a savings account due to mature next week. This money is going towards our house deposit that we will need in the summer. I’m looking for somewhere to put this money until then where it will earn a little bit of interest but I don’t have to wait a year and I won’t be penalised for taking it out before a year is up!
I will pay off my overdraft in 2013!!!!

Have you had a look at Marcus? That might be something for you.
    Save £12k in 2019 #154 - £14,826.60/£12k
    Save £12k in 2020 #128 - £4,155.62/£10k
  • Funnily enough I’ve not long looked at that after posting. Seems like one of the best options I think! Thanks

Their website is a model of clarity and transfers both ways are almost instant, also I think the have a quite high faster payment daily withdrawal limit.
  • Any sort of easy-access account would suit - I'd avoid investments as they are not suitable for the short term. Marcus is a popular pick, but there are other alternatives here: https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/savings/savings-accounts-best-interest/
