What is the date of your initial appeal refusal letter - the letter that supplied your PoPLA code?

    Edited to add:
I now see in you opening post that your initial appeal refusal letter is dated 16th January.

Yes, you are about ten days too late.

On 16/01/2019 an email was received with the appeal response
Yes, this is now about 10 days too late to use the POPLA code. They last 32 days in fact, not just 28, but that's gone.

So ignore them. Keep all the paperwork in case they try a claim, and please no posting about debt collector letters...please see post #4 of the NEWBIES thread.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

as above, 16th january to 26 or 27 feb is not 32 days , and definitely not 28 days like it says on the POPLA website

I did wonder about this yeaserday when you posted, thinking to myself , what ? is this still going on ? but didnt realise you had left it over 6 weeks instead of 4 weeks

all that work was wasted, due to tardiness which you admitted 2 weeks ago which is when it was due

you now need to buy a DeLorean and go back in time 2 or 3 weeks , lol
  • Ok. I get that I messed things up.
So frustrating. Working long days and then some cowboys come to help themselves to £100.
In light of my mistake, am I best advised to pay up? Unsure as there is also a message to keep the paperwork in case debt collectors and look at newbies thread post #4. Can it be challenged down the road in another way?

and if bylaws do apply , then in theory it "times out" after 6 months

but keep all paperwork etc for 6 years or more, just in case
  • Ok so: keep all paperwork for minimum of 6 years. Ignore any contact by post from debt collectors. Re-read post #4 of newbies thread. Got it. Thanks.
