P2P ISA to Cash ISA

Just thought I'd post a helpful update here. Having asked Virgin if they could accept my Funding Circle ISA and them confirming they couldn't, I decided to cash in some funds with Funding Circle and request the transfer anyway. I completed the Cash ISA and Stocks and Shares ISA parts of the Virgin ISA Transfer Application Form to be belt and braces about it, and a couple of weeks later I'm pleased to say that the cash has transferred over!
So my advice would be to anyone thinking of moving an IF ISA to a Cash ISA, try it anyway and see what happens.0 -
Yes, I've also had success transferring an IF ISA after lying about what type of ISA it was (IF ISA wasn't an option on the transfer form - I didn't query it as I didn't believe I'd get a reliable answer).So my advice would be to anyone thinking of moving an IF ISA to a Cash ISA, try it anyway and see what happens.0
