House of Lords approval

House of Lords approval .... THE MOVIE

I have watched this again and I believe it is very clear that rogue parking companies will go out of business if they ignore this when it becomes law.

They refer to parking companies who operate in a proper manner will be OK but, who and where are these companies ?

They refer to bad practice by debt collectors so hopefully the likes of DRP/ZENITH/ZZPS will have to tone down their rubbish. Regardless, they are still to be ignored.

They refer to CCJ's ..... we will have to wait and see

So what about the rogue legals who appear to operate without any knowledge of what is happening and just copy and paste what the PPC says. ???

For the 4 dodgy legals we see here, it will be incumbent upon them to ensure the PPC has fully complied with the new CoP or risk being trashed by the court and indeed being reported to the SRA

That's my take folks, over to you

The one thing I learned in working closely with government departments over the years is never to over-expect.

There will always be loopholes, boltholes or opportunity to phoenix - just look what PoFA gave us, the outlawing of clamping, but the spawning of the existing mess, requiring even further legislation.

Then there's Brexit - I'll say no more,
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

And expect plenty of lacunae in the code of practice that the PPCs will try to exploit and that will keep this forum busy for the forseeable future.
