IVA and PBA reclaim

Options
Hi all, I have finished my IVA nearly two years ago with no problems and have my certificate issued to me. During that time in my IVA I claimed back near 20k in PPI which went into my IVA.
Recently I was contacted by a company who said they can claim back Package Bank Accounts ( PBA ), so I filled in the forms and sent them off. A couple of days ago I had a cheque come through for nearly 3k, I have to pay them their fee and I am cool with this, they did all the work I couldn't.
My question is this;- Will I be able to keep the money or will my IVA people get in touch and demand I give it to them, like they did with my PPI money. As I understand it, I have finished my IVA and it is now off my record and history.

  • I believe it is to do with what the wording of your IVA terms and conditions were. I am sure some of the posters more experienced with the exact clause will answer soon but I didn't want to read and run
  • If the refund of fees was for bank accounts that were included in the IVA then the IP has a claim for them, if it was for bank accounts that weren't included then they don't.
