Nationwide referal link question
Options

I've already referred someone and got £100 and now I have £400 more I could potentially get before April.
However, the second person I sent a referal link to a few days ago hasn't replied since I responded to their private message sending a request for a referral. They were last active when they sent me the message.
If in worse case scenario they don't click the link after a month and it expires, will it still count as my using one of my four left over referrals? Or will it revert back to four left for me?

You can ask Nationwide for as many referral links as you like. But they will only pay 5 lots of £100 incentives in any tax year, if both referee and referrer comply with all terms.
To be clear, you should ask for a new link from N/W and assume the one you sent out is "dead"0 -

Yes, but of course you've only got 2 months left0

You can request as many links as you want, but only the first 5 that are used will qualify for the RAF bonus payment. It doesn't matter that they are generated, only that someone successfully uses it to open an account0

Is it possible for me to refer my wife? I can't find anything in the T+Cs0

Yes, you can refer anyone.0 -

If neither of you have taken advantage of the refer a friend bonus, you can actually refer each other! Here how:
You open a Nationwide account (do not elect to switch an account at this time). Your wife does the same. Now you both have an open NW account and neither of you have taken advantage of the switching offer. You then generate a unique link for your wife. She does the same for you. You then use the links you generated for each other to initiate a switch from external accounts in your individual names to your respective NW accounts. Each one of you will get £100 for being referred, as well as £100 for referring a friend - for a total of £400 between the two of you!0 -

If you are going to go down that route, I'd generate a new link anyway - just in case the original person you sent it to decides to use it - that way you won't potentially miss out on an extra £100.
This sort of request belongs in the referral board though - there's a Nationwide RAF thread in there where you can post links, etc.0 -
Great way of dodging the referral rules!0

I know this thread is a few weeks old now, but I hope it's not too late to point out that you have no way to know whether they haven't used the link. You must therefore assume they have. You can't offer it, as you have in this thread, to someone else! It is highly likely to have been used and so offering it to someone else is depriving that someone else of £100.
Your assumption that they haven't seen your PM as they haven't been active/logged in to MSE is not valid. You don't have to be logged in to read a PM if you have set them to be notified to you by email. If the recipient had that set then they would have seen your link in their email feed, no need for them to log in to get it.0
