Re switch
Hi Guys, need a bit of advice please.
With Scottish power.
The gas/elec in our house is registered in my wife’s name, and I added my name so I could deal with it all, on the phone etc.
The a/c is not in joint names.
I deal with everything, wife cannot be bothered:)
The reason I put it in wife’s name was for I’d, proof of address 25 years ago.
Just come to fill switch forms for CEC, and just realised this, CEC is in my name, so would it be best to apply in wife’s name, or joint names if possible, or can I just switch using my name as account holder now?
To get the cashback, does the name matter from CEC, or does it just go onto the a/c as opened ?

You won't be able to do joint names.
Leave it all in your wife's name and switch with the authority you have.Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0 -

Do I have to register her on CEC to get the cashback, as it’s registered in my name to get quotes ?
