London solicitor for document certification?

This is related to a mortgage, because my onveyancer (based on Yorkshire) requires a solicitor to certify a copy of my passport + proof of address.
However, I have contacted 6 solicitor firms so far today and none offer the service.
Could anybody suggest a firm? This forum was the only place I could think to ask!

I believe the post office perform certification, could you try asking your conveyancer if this would be sufficient?0
-
If not the magistrates court can do so I believe - there is a small fee to pay
Locally (not London) a solicitor did it for £5 for me, just as a walk in0 -
I've asked all the local ones - they say no. I'm asking further afield. Maybe I should try just walking in and seeing what they say.0

Sadly they insist on it being a solicitor's firm. I can't even use the legal counsel employed by my company.0

Or ask your conveyancer for a suggestion.
Or just post the principal documents to them?0 -
Try this one
https://angel-law.co.uk/
I recently got a CH1 done there for £48.
It's very back street and close to Angel tube.
I had the same issue as I work in London but selling a flat in Bristol.0 -
Or just post the principal documents to them?
Don't know if this is for CH1, but if so the solicitor keeps a photo and the land reg gets a photo so the solicitor needs to see your face.0 -

Thank you - their website does look promising. I've dropped them an email.0 -

Post office certification is not accepted by my firm, because they cannot contact the actual person who certified the documents to confirm they saw you in person and that the passport was a true likeness.
If your mortgage broker is qualified, why not get him to certify the documents? Failing that, a Minister of Religion, FCA registered financial advisor, Doctor, Accountant or if the solicitor has another branch nearer to you, visit them to do the ID.0
