Integrated fridge freezer

That's just an issue with your odd sized kitchenThe particular integrated fridge that I had (a double door version), went wrong and it was impossible to find another (from the original or any manufacturer) that would fit.
If it's a standard 600mm unit then replacements shouldn't be a problem.0 -
I want one of these in my kitchen, played on it today. Will cost about 2% of house price and may fit in if i do without a cooker

If you really want an integrated one, fit your own. It won't cost you more than £500 fitted. They are applying a huge mark up, and will probably fit a budget fridge as well. The only difference is the door panel, worth maybe £30?
You'll love an integrated one until it needs replacing in a few years time and you have to pay for removal and refitting.

I had an integrated fridge freezer when i redid my kitchen, it was great. Move time on 13 years and fridge freezer died overnight. Couldn't afford to buy a new integrated one so now its just a big cupboard. Wish I had never bothered."You've been reading SOS when it's just your clock reading 5:05 "0 -
We bought new build with an integrated one and I hate it. So much wasted space, and I find it difficult to use the top shelves of the fridge because they’re so high (and I’m not that short!). If it wasn’t for the waste I’d rip it out and replace it now.0

When we had our kitchen redone we went for a standalone due to our experience with previous integrated units which was not good in terms of getting maintenance done and replacements.
Now if we ever need to replace it, we don't need to be exact with sizes, it can be a bit wider,a bit narrower, a bit taller, a bit shorter, whatever fits our budget and styling.0 -
Id go freestanding for all the reasons everyone else has said. If you pay a grand for an integrated FF you will have to hang your head in shame every time you log on to MSE

...and right on flippin' cue, it seems our fridge/freezer's having a sodding sulk.0

I bought a freestanding fridge before I decided to get a new kitchen. It's an L shaped kitchen made of white gloss units, grey worktop, white tiles, silver tap/sink/stove, white washing machine with some grey touches - my silver fridge blends in just fine.
I've seen some intergrated fridges and they look nice but don't provide much internal space.
Also, one kitchen designer told me most of his clients tend to go for a freestanding fridge as it's more practical and gives you more choices.0 -
A regular, or even a freestanding fridge freezer is far too small in fridge space for a family, you would need to shop every few days.
Rather go for either a large larder fridge and a freezer either in the utility room, under the worktop in the kitchen, or next to the fridge if you want a tall freezer, or one of those American style ones.
Depending on the colour of your doors, you may prefer integrated but they are much more expensive and smaller for the space occupied.0
