The outstanding loan is £5200 and last payment is March 2019 so just over a year left.
No other cards (aside from the one I’ve just stupidly applied for!)
There is £75k deposit going down
And the mortgage is for £220k
My partner is very good with money - he has a loan of £6k for a car but he will be paying this off with the rest of the profit.

I am on. Reasonably good wage and always pay my accounts on time, I have paid approx £1500 one of my credit cards the last few months and have decreased the card limit too by nearly £2000.
My partner has a good salary too.0 -
I’m not sure - I’m meeting with my advisor tmrw evening, he is recommending various building societies and not sure who they use, I have an account with Experian.0

You and your partner are jointly buying a £295,000 house.The outstanding loan is £5200 and last payment is March 2019 so just over a year left.

You and your partner will jointly own that £295,000 house.
Depending on how you assign that ownership, you will either both jointly own all of it, or you will have a fixed ownership split. Have you decided that?
You and your partner will jointly owe £220,000 on the mortgage secured on that house.
Now is a very good time to start to get over this whole "But that's not my money" thing. If you want to be a joint owner, sort your finances out so that the lender thinks you're a good risk for being lent nearly a quarter of a million pounds.
Right now, you - personally - seemingly have a total net worth of somewhere around minus £20k...0
