Investiment

If I want my investment to be able to buy the same now as in 15 years time what rate of growth should I look for or is there a rate of something not sure what it's called I should link my investments to ?

No one can answer your question with absolute certainty because no one knows how the rate of inflation will fluctuate over the next 15 years. If you can find it any such investment, you want them to be linked to the Retail Prices Index (RPI) or failing that the Consumer Prices Index (CPI).
The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.

If it's invested in the global stock market then it should exceed inflation in the long term. That's about all you can do.
